The Photography of Philine von Sell.

“Philine von Sell’s photo project Made in Germany shows moments, situations and impressions from the world of work in German industry. For her project, the artist asked to ten renowned companies and production facilities across the country and visited them. Her photographs show manufacturing processes and production from the perspective of an unbiased interest and thus under a perspective that recognizes the typical and extraordinary in the seemingly normal and routine. Thus arose works that show the mechanical and manual labor, material, and its transformation from raw material to finished product in the companies – all this as the result of artistic perception and photographic work, which approaches its object of investigation open and cautiously. ”
